      The Clean Water Center located in Appleton, WI is A.O. Smith's water testing and water treatment systems go to location.

      Primary Function

      Responsible for the outbound and inbound phone calls to schedule service and sales opportunities, data entry, helping walk in retail customers, assisting with shows and events, placing reminder calls to existing customers, taking job odors over the phone, assisting with inventory, assist with emailing invoices to customers and maintaining a clean and inviting showroom.

      Responsibilities

      • Answering incoming phone calls and scheduling service or sales opportunities.
      • Greet all customers as they enter the showroom
      • Scan and update all information for each visit to our customers in the CRM
      • Follow up phone calls to customers
      • Create purchase orders for units and parts
      • Sales orders for mail delivery or showroom pick up
      • Ordering salt and schedule deliveries
      • Outbound phone calls to existing customers for service and delivery reminders
      • Respond to prospective customer inquiries and schedule free consultations
      • Assist showroom customers with products and questions
      • Test water samples and forward results to the appropriate department
      • Attend department meetings
      • Assist with inventory
      • Receive and handle customer requests and complaints.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
      • Forklift pallets of salt for customers.

      Qualifications

      • Associate degree in business is preferred
      • PC literacy (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access)
      • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and flexibility for learning new responsibilities
      • Professional appearance and manner required
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills
