What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls from consumers and provide customer care in accordance with policies and procedures
- Process new applications for health care coverage and assist with enrollment into health plans
- Handle life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods
- Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities as needed
- Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months-2 years of experience
- Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Spanish, and Haitian Creole languages
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to organize simultaneous tasks
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to work as a member of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-1 years of experience in customer service
- Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets
