What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
- Utilize smartphone-based technology for managing rentals and inventory
- Clean and inspect equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality
- Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
- Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks and discomforts
- Ability to follow safety precautions and use protective gear as necessary
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of U-Haul products and services
- Certification in propane filling or forklift operation (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
