What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide assistance to customers at the U-Haul center with products and services
- Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers as needed
- Clean and inspect equipment, ensuring proper fluid levels and safety
- Prepare rental invoices and facilitate the return of equipment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in an environment with moderate risks and safety precautions
- Capability to work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to various conditions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance or logistics
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification through U-Haul
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
