What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
- Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Clean and inspect equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
- Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
- Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Availability to work in a moderately risky environment with safety precautions
- Punctuality and reliability for scheduled work shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service or related fields
- Familiarity with moving and storage equipment
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification upon employment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of U-Haul products and services
