      Job Description

      Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Store Customer Service Representative position. The Industrial Store Customer Service Representative is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      • Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
      • Answer telephone calls promptly
      • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
      • Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
      • Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
      • Research products needed for customer special applications
      • Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
      • Keep sales literature current and organized
      • Stock shelves when needed
      • Generate sales quotes to customers
      • Load products into customer vehicle
      • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

      Qualifications

      • High school graduate or equivalent
      • Ability to accurately enter data into computer
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
      • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
      • Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
      • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
      • Valid Driver's License required; CDL License a Plus
