What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
- Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
- Clean and inspect equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and checking fluid levels
- Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns
- Participate in continuous education and training programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a moderately risky environment with safety precautions
- Capability to handle customer inquiries and provide product education
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with rental equipment and logistics operations
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection processes
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
