      Are you a team player who already has some experience in the area of Customer Service? We are looking for a highly customer oriented and motivated Customer Service Representative to add to our team in Mechelen.


      As our new Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for our Domestic Business. You will be a primary link to our business partners and you will facilitate customer satisfaction by building and maintaining a strong relationship with our customers. You will facilitate Sales fulfilment and coordinate a broad portfolio of processes with business partners, logistics service providers, business units, supply chain functions and shared services to drive operational excellence from business preparation until the money is in the bank.

      In this role, your key activities are:

      • Day to day interface with business partners in order to address customer´s supply and service needs
      • Order processing, delivery creation, transport booking in co-operation with our forwarders, invoicing Applicable domestic activities.
      • Follow up of payment behaviour of the customer to ensure on-time-payment
      • Supply timely and accurate response to any customer requests
      • First contact for issues, defects and complaints – respond to customer complaints
      • capture customer insights and stay closely aligned with Sales and other internal and external stakeholders
      • Contribute to continuous improvements to our systems, processes and to specific customer related supply chain issues.

      About you


      You have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and/or relevant experience in area of Customer Service. Perhaps you are already familiar with the area of Maritime logistics and have knowledge in order management. You have basic knowledge of SAP, excel and remote communication tools and area of finance. Finally, it is necessary to be fluent in English (spoken and written).


      To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and pro-active way to work. We have an international and hectic work environment, so you have good cultural awareness and you can lead your own work fluently with your excellent self-organisation and time management skills. You are highly customer oriented and you feel comfortable in solving problems and manage your own customer desk in a result driven way in a fast changing environment.
