      Primary Responsibilities:
      - Handle up to 30 inbound calls per day from facilities, providers, and members regarding mental health and substance use
      - Use effective listening skills to accurately document calls in computer systems and ensure timely delivery of services
      - Contact care providers on behalf of customers to assist with appointment scheduling and internal specialist connections
      - Guide and support customers in navigating our websites and encourage self-sufficiency in using our tools
      - Research and resolve complex customer issues by utilizing multiple databases and collaborating with support resources

      Required Qualifications:
      - High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
      - 6+ months of Call Center experience or mental health care experience
      - Intermediate skill experience in using Microsoft Office programs
      - Attendance and punctuality are essential during the 8-week virtual training
      - Must have high-speed internet until internet connectivity is provided by UHG
      - Flexibility to work assigned 8-hour shifts, including weekends and evening hours

      Preferred Qualifications:
      - 1+ years of experience in a related environment using phones and computers
      - Prior healthcare experience

      Telecommuting Requirements:
      - Must have a dedicated work area that provides information privacy
      - Ability to keep company sensitive documents secure
      - Must have access to UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or existing service

      Soft Skills:
      - Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, and respond to customers compassionately
      - Proficient conflict management skills to resolve issues in stressful situations

      Additional Information:
      - Salary range for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, or Rhode Island is $16.00 - $27.31, based on factors like education and experience
