What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
- Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers and perform equipment inspections
- Prepare rental invoices and handle the return of equipment
- Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in a moderate-risk environment with safety precautions
- Availability for hands-on working interviews
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with rental equipment or logistics operations
- Certification in forklift operation or related safety training (available through U-Haul)
- Interest in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
