What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer phones and assist facilities, payers, and patients with inquiries
- Set up payment plans when requested by patients
- Contact patients regarding their payment plans when required
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) and follow HIPAA regulations
- Communicate questions and/or issues to the Lead and Supervisor when necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1+ year of Customer Service/Call Center experience – medical or healthcare preferred
- Knowledge of EOBs preferred
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a very fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED) – continuing education preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
