What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with customers to deescalate issues and transform cancellation requests into retention opportunities
- Handle a high volume of calls, chats, and emails while maintaining customer records
- Simplify explanations of bills, rate plans, and product features for customers
- Troubleshoot basic issues and coordinate with Tier 3 support for more complex problems
- Be flexible to cross-train for various customer service tasks including collections and technical support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Call center or customer service experience
- Availability to work any schedule during operational hours, including evenings and weekends
- Reliable internet service and an established dedicated work area for remote work
- Compliance with organizational security and performance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer retention or sales roles within a call center environment
- Familiarity with telecommunications products and services
- Ability to adapt to changing technology and processes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience with performance metrics and sales goals
