      LOCATION: Hicksville, NY 11801

      HOURS: 8:30am-5pm (some flexibility); Monday - Friday

      FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible

      In this role you will:

      • Oversee workflow of the Customer Service team who supports Sunrise's joint venture with NYU Langone

      • Create an environment that facilitates open communication with team members and acts in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with team and department members

      • Support and promote high quality service

      • Motivate and utilize staff effectively through fostering a positive, supportive work environment

      • Create and monitor processes to investigate and resolve problems regarding tests and results in order to ensure accurate and efficient service

      • Oversee, and as necessary communicate via phone, face-to-face and email with other departments in the lab for problem resolution

      • Manage department time, scheduling, time off and overtime

      • Document and record employee productivity and performance and counsels as necessary

      • Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements by respecting and maintaining the confidentiality of information relative to patients and clients

      • Coordinate with Human Resources tor recruit, interview and hire team members

      • Oversee training of new employees and retraining for existing employees

      • Continuously communicate with patients and doctors’ offices, and internal departments.

      All you need is:

      • Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience

      • Excellent customer service skills

      • Ability to supervise a high volume transaction oriented department

      • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills with management, team members, patients, clients and partners

      • Ability to make immediate decisions and sound judgment calls

      • Proficient computer and keyboard skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

      • Leadership abilities to successfully coach, counsel, and motivate staff while maintaining composure and professionalism

      • Proper judgment when exposed to confidential information

      • Ability to analyze and improve processes; applies creative problem solving skills

      Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 (depending on experience). Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
