- Lead people management activities, including recruitment, training, and the professional development of team members.
- Manage stakeholder relationships by regularly engaging with both external (e.g., Customers) and internal (e.g., Sales, Supply Chain) stakeholders to comprehend their needs.
- Proactively evaluate and communicate performance outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders, while also identifying and resolving any arising issues.
- Develop strategies to cater to customer requirements, enhance customer interaction, foster external networking, and facilitate business interaction.
- Utilize influencing skills to drive necessary changes among internal stakeholders.
- Handle resource management involves managing the allocation of finite resources to maximize value against project requests, as well as taking responsibility for developing and implementing tools and processes utilized by Customer Supply Chain Manager
- 15+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in logistics (e.g., customer service, customer supply chain, transportation, or operations).
- BS/BA degree; MBA desirable but not required.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Experience in Sales-related roles advantageous.
- Outstanding leadership presence and communication skills, able to inspire trust and quickly build credibility within the organization.
- Strategic thinking to quickly identify supply chain requirements that are key for success and determine gaps where investment is needed.
- Must be able to motivate and lead within the organization's culture, using influencing skills in a collaborative, harmonious fashion to work across functions.
- Proven ability to lead teams toward business objectives.
- Ability to encourage teamwork and build partnerships both internally and externally.
- Strong relationship development, conflict resolution, and team-building instincts.

Your role at Clorox:
The Director of Customer Supply Chain oversees a team of Customer Supply Chain Managers who act as the main link between the Supply Chain (Logistics), sales, and Customer teams for clients.
The responsibilities include developing standardized tools and procedures to ensure consistent, efficient service delivery. They collaborate with the Sales organization, including the Sales Vice Presidents, Supply Chain Leaders, and Sales and Sales Planning leaders, to understand needs and ensure adequate support from Customer Supply Chain Managers. When necessary, they directly engage with Customer or Sales teams to address issues and devise long-term strategic plans.
Given the rapid growth and evolving customer requirements, the Director must possess a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain to identify and address organizational gaps necessary to sustain channel effectiveness. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $171,700 - $352,600
–Zone B: $157,400 - $324,200
–Zone C: $143,100 - $294,700

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
