      MISSION

      In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization

      Responsible for supporting Mexico customs compliance activities, support Mexico plants in business continuity and competitiveness. Interact with Mexico plants with Finance, Tax, purchasing and supply chain teams to establish a standardized approach toward deployment of customs compliance and supply chain related activities.

      Responsibilities & Activities

      Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including the related activities and eventual authorities

      Responsibilities:

      • Update IMMEX Annex 24 databases for Industrial and distribution companies
      • Run IMMEX Annex 24 backflush for Industrial and distribution companies
      • Accomplish the KPI for SAP & IMMEX Annex 24 gap
      • Report to Mexican Government annex 30 on bi-monhly basis
      • Annex 30 bi-monthly reports validation and excel database control
      • Support general Mexico Customs Compliance activities such as internal and external audits
      • Tax files control. Keep all import / export records for last 5 years for Industrial and distribution companies
      • Back up for customs compliance activities of customs coordinator 2
      • Support to en sure the compliance of all the legal reports and information is submitted to the authorities accurate and on a timely manner.
      • Manage changes of regimen from scrap and raw material.
      • CTM Control.
      • IMMEX, PROSEC, CIVA obligations.

      This position has the authority and responsibility to stop any process that jeopardizes the safety or health of personnel, significant impacts to the environment, as well as the quality of the product that impacts our customers, ensuring that the procedures that correspond within the framework are complied with. Quality and SAASS system (Environmental, Health and Safety Administration System)

      PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

      Personal Background

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign trade/International business or related field
      • 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing environment desired
      • 3 years in within the customs/trade compliance field
      • 1 years in within the logistics compliance field
      • Fluent English
      • Must be willing to travel as needed, in some cases on short notice

      Job Technical skills

      • Knowledge within the customs compliance functions
      • Experience in commercial negotiations with suppliers
      • Experience in the use of Annex 24 software desirable SACI, SICE- VUCEM
      • SAP systems within each of the materials functions
