What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, manage, and monitor compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
- Conduct regular internal assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions
- Prepare and present compliance reports to management
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance assessments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must meet all Department of Defense SkillBridge Eligibility requirements
- Up to 5 years of experience in a related field preferred
- Ability to remediate/answer POAMs and work with software engineering to remediate findings
- Must qualify and submit to a Tier 1 DOD clearance process
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as CMMC, GDPR, and HIPAA
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Experience with internal and external compliance audits
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
