Our work depends on a Cyber Engineer Advisor joining our team to support the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE).

      HOW CYBER ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

      You will attend and create meetings to facilitate collaboration, coordination, and consensus for cross teams security initiatives. Manual and automated network endpoints data collection, validation, and monitoring design/development. Identify and highlight automation opportunities for security process improvements. Assist in the collection of business and technical security requirements to meet project goals. Offer security process integration delivery and support. Document security runbooks and processes to help drive cross team communications to improve environment efficiencies.

      WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

      • BA/BS or equivalent, 8+ years of experience
      • Established residency in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
      • 3-5+ years of Security Engineering and delivery on at least one of the following CSP platforms: AWS, Azure
      • Deep Security, Infrastructure, Operations, Performance, and Development cross team process discovery, analysis, automation, and support background
      • NIST 800-53 compliance and supporting standards knowledge
      • Cloud security automation (hands on scripting with Python is a must)
      • Cloud security delivery lifecycle processes and tools background (DevSecOps, IRR, GitHub, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Network Monitoring (New Relic ideally))
      • CSP solutions design and development (hands-on)
      • Security: Advanced
      • Cloud Security Engineering Design, Planning, and Delivery: Advanced
      • AWS and/or Azure Security Controls and Infrastructure: Advanced
      • Scripting/Development (Python/Java): Intermediate
      • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust

      • Exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance tools and platforms
      • 2 or more recognized security certifications

      The likely salary range for this position is $108,000 - $162,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
