      Cyber Risk and Governance Specialist - National Salary Circa £57,000. London Salary Circa £70,000.

      This role is also great for a graduate who has some experience within security.


      A bit about the job:

      This role is great for someone who has an existing background in Information Risk Management and has a flair for Governance, Risk and Controls management. It’s perfect for someone who loves working across a variety of teams and functions to understand and communicate our cyber risk.

      Providing robust and relevant analysis and actively engaging with stakeholders, you will be happy working at a fast pace and handling uncertainty. If you are someone that enjoys continually learning and developing who can support our business in maintaining our Cyber Security Risk services and associated products this could be the opportunity for you.

      You will also be providing technical and consultancy support to the CISO Cyber Risk Lead which also includes:

      • Provide day-to-day information risk analysis, consultancy, advice, and guidance across all areas of CISO.

      • Implement an approach to governing risk at a global level supporting Group CISO in their oversight and management of accountabilities relating to cyber risk and control management.

      • Support the design, implementation and maintenance of the central cyber risk and control management approach and associated governance, reporting and monitoring.

      • Produce and maintain cyber risk management products for the consumption across Aviva markets.


      Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in Bristol, London, or Norwich.


      Skills and experience we’re looking for:

      • Broad experience of security management concepts built up over time in security, risk, assurance and or governance roles.

      • Working knowledge of risk management practices including control frameworks, risk registers, risk reporting, governance structures and security standards.

      • Experience of working independently to solve problems, design solutions and drive change. Must be comfortable working with and presenting to senior stakeholders.

      • Knowledge of Cyber governance processes and practices, including ISMS monitoring and control frameworks such as ISO, ISF and NIST their relationships to other frameworks, and their application within a regulated industry (ie. Financial sector).

      • National Salary Circa £57,000. London Salary Circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
