- Ongoing Grade 7/8 position delivering operational cyber security capabilities to defend and protect critical government data and information.
- Salary range: $106,025 - $117,363+ super, commensurate with experience.
- Excellent leave entitlements: 20 days annual leave, up to additional 24 days flexible leave.
- Flexible and remote working opportunities from anywhere in NSW.
- Proactively managing and maintaining various security platforms including Web Application Firewalls, Proxies, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender.
- Identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to maximize the effectiveness and coverage of security tools.
- Investigating and responding to assigned incidents and tasks promptly.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Remaining current with cyber security technology, practices and key threats to provide informed decision making and minimise cyber security incidents
- Working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders and teams to monitor, detect, respond and remediate cyber security incidents
- Technically minded with an ability to tackle complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in cyber security, technology or a related field.
- Experience managing Web Application Firewalls, Proxies, Cloud Security Posture management tools, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Protection would be well regarded
- A collaborative team player who can work with technical and non-technical teams to ensure the effective response to cyber security and operational technology incidents
- Passionate, keen and motivated to uplift and develop techniques, tactics, procedures and processes to ensure the delivery of highly effective security capabilities
