      What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

      • Monitor and analyze security events as well as incidents to identify potential threats.
      • Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and incidents.
      • Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
      • Collaborate with other teams to mitigate and resolve security incidents.
      • Perform forensic analysis to determine the root cause of incidents.
      • Maintain and update security tools and technologies.
      • Provide recommendations for improving security posture and incident response capabilities.
      • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of incidents and response actions.
      • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

      What Is Required (Qualifications)

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
      • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on incident response.
      • Strong knowledge of security principles, techniques, and technologies.
      • Experience with security monitoring tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
      • Proficiency in forensic analysis and investigation techniques.
      • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
      • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

      How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

      • Security+ Cybersecurity certification.
      • Additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
