PB is seeking one versatile Cybersecurity Intern to join its high-performing, fast-paced PB Information Security Office.
The Cybersecurity Intern will gain experience across many aspects of Information Security – security reporting and monitoring, security operations, security architecture reviews, project management and risk management, to name a few. The ideal candidate is analytical, adaptable and a self-starter. Willingness to learn and flexibility is a must, as day-to-day assignments can vary greatly.
You Will:
• Assist in red teaming and vulnerability management activities
• Assist with security operations and various projects to address current and potential security risks
• Perform data analysis, data consolidation and data reporting used for decision-making and reporting metrics
• Assist with maintaining and organizing collaborative sites and mailboxes
• Provide administrative and logistical assistance to ensure security-related meetings run smoothly and effectively
• Stay knowledgeable about current security technologies, news and events and how they impact security operations
You Are:
• Currently enrolled in a college/university as an Undergraduate or Graduate Student in pursuit of a degree in Management Information Systems, IT/Information Security, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
• Inquisitive and a self-starter in order to succeed at PB
• Strong with organization and time management skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft O365 skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel [pivot tables & V-lookups], Teams, etc.)
• Familiar with AWS, Power Shell, Python and Java scripting a plus.
• Willing and able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Strong with communication skills, both written and verbal, is a must
• Able to translate technical information into easily understandable information for non-technical audiences
• Able to learn how to work with distributed and remote technical and operational teams
The wage range for this position is $20/hour to $24/hour, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.
