  Job Description

  Key Responsibilities -
  Work closely with the IT and project teams in getting a thorough understanding on the requirement, review from the security standpoint and recommend relevant solutions.
  Responsible for effective coordination and prompt & proactive communication with the relevant teams involved in the requirements.
  Leads the design and development of security architectures for different types of cloud and cloud/hybrid systems.
  Drive the evaluation of security products to be used within the organization identified by the management.
  Perform security architecture gap assessment, third party risk assessments highlighting the risks and recommend mitigation controls. Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
  Assist in planning and implementing Cyber Security strategic initiatives
  Skills to liaise with cross functional teams and customers/vendors/suppliers.
  Able to mentor junior team members, plan & manage projects and deliver them in stipulated SLA’s.
  Hands-on Experience with crucial areas like Vulnerability Management including VAPT, Patch Management, Endpoint Security and Network Security based on industry standards and frameworks
  
  

  Key Expectations
  ● 10 - 12 years of wide experience working in a CSIRT , Cyber Security Ops or Computer security team in an diverse IT environment
  ● Endpoint and Network security experience required; Knowledge of IDS, IPS, EDR, Malware defenses and monitoring experience
  ● Basic understanding of basic principles of Cyber & Information security along with Defense in Depth a must
  ● Atleast Basic knowledge of Threat hunting experience preferred
  ● Knowledge of common adversary tactics and techniques and associated frameworks such as LM KillChain, MITRE ATT&CK etc. preferred
  ● Working knowledge of incident response procedures
  ● Knowledge & experience with SQL queries / OSQuery / ELK Queries preferred
  ● Basic Experience administering and supporting various enterprise operating systemms such as Windows,Linux, Mac
  ● Fundamental understanding of network traffic analysis including TCP/IP, routing, switching, protocols, etc.
  ● Fair understanding of Windows event log analysis
  ● Experience with enterprise information security data management - SIEM experience a strong plus
  ● Programming and scripting skills - proficient knowledge of Powershell and Python is a plus
  ● Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
  ● Strong and Methodical documentation and communication skills. Blog writing / Developing Training - experience will be a strong plus.
  ● Excellent customer service skills And working knowledge of ITSM and formal change management process
  ● Evidential passion for learning and experimenting with the width of information technology and information security verticals.
  ● Innovative mindset - Natural curiosity and ability to learn new skills quickly, with Ability and willingness to think outside the box and problem solving.
  ● Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure and GCP) , cloud security services, cloud architecture and deployment models.
  ● Experienced in network security, product evaluation and security architecture gap assessment.
  ● Adequate understanding of ISMS process, Risk assessment and relevant experience to architect network or recommend solution to protect processing company/clients network/information.
  ● Stakeholder relationship management, Conflict resolution, Effective Communication, Clarity in documentation and presentations commensurate with the Policies and Procedures is key
  ● Certifications such as CEH, CISA/CISM, CCNA, CCSK, OSCP, SANS would be of added advantage.
