A bout DTMB:
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About this position:
This position will serve as an IT Compliance Analyst within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). This position will support the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) with completing and maintaining System Security Plans for their 150+ applications. Completing and maintaining System Security Plans will require interpretation of the security implemented in these applications based off of NIST 800-53, and other required regulations, policies and frameworks using the State of Michigan’s GRC tool, documentation and other materials as required. This position may also be involved with collecting and organizing responses and documentation for internal, State or Federal audits. Other expectations for this position include, but are not limited to, training IT and non-IT staff on processes within the wor k area, providing outreach to IT and non-IT staff, data collection and conducting presentations on topics within the work area.

Position Location:
This position is located in Lansing, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Signing Bonus:
Thisposition may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to bepaid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completionof the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply tocurrent state employees.
In accordance with federal law, all new employees must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within three business days of beginning employment . DTMB Human Resources uses E-Verify in conjunction with the federal I-9 form to verify authorization of employment.
Education
Information Technology Programmer/Analyst P11
Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
Experience
No specific type or amount is required.Information Technology Programmer/Analyst P11
Possession of an associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, information assurance, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, IT project management, or mathematics and two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician; or two years (4,160 hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.
OR
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and four years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, information technology technician, or four years (8,320 hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.Certain positions may require certification in specific information technology programs.
