      Cyber Security Scrum Master

      Salary: National ranging from £47,000 - £72,000 and London from £50,000 - £80,000 per annum

      Are you interested in joining the Cyber Security team at the FCA?

      The Cyber Security team sits within the Infrastructure & Operations unit and takes end-to-end accountability for the technology roadmap and architecture, development and operational support of Enterprise Security across the internal FCA Technology division.
      The Scrum Master is part of the Cyber Security Engineering team and is responsible for the quality and optimization of software development and technical delivery. Ensuring that the planned releases are appropriately tested, delivered to the release timeline whilst meeting the quality expectations and protecting the integrity of the Live environments.

      What you will be doing

      • Leading Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, sprint reviews, daily scrums, and retrospectives, Optimising backlog and throughput

      • Resolving risks, issues, interdependencies and managing external relationships on behalf of the delivery teams

      • Creating a harmonious environment, managing conflict quickly and appropriately, creating a trusting and co-operative environment

      • Review business, technical and operational requirements and related information to ensure quality inputs to enable effective designs and builds can be tested and implemented

      • Estimate and co-ordinate releases with product release management, project managers and business stakeholders aligning to project timescales, release calendars and stakeholder needs

      • Continually improve agile and scrum methodology and its implementation to provide high quality and highly efficient delivery

      Key aspects of the work will include:

      • Initiate and coordinate Engineering ceremonies and backlog refinement of user stories

      • Lead key sprint planning ceremonies and sprint reporting

      • Supporting operations out of hours as part of an on-call rota

      Skills/Experience required:

      Minimum:

      • Substantial experience as an IT Delivery Manager or IT Project Manager, with 3rd party, on and off shore developers / project resources

      • Experience working with security products with regular releases and pressure to deliver new functionality

      • Certified Scrum Master or willingness to work towards

      Essential:

      • Willingness to undergo SC Clearance

      • Excellent communication and organisational skills

      • Experience of planning complex agile developments in a form that can be reliably communicated to the wider business, allowing the business to schedule activity with a degree of confidence

      • Understanding of metrics of incremental delivery

      • Experience and understanding of agile development and continuous improvement
