- Generate regular cyber security KPI’s according to defined procedures.
- Keep abreast of evolving cyber security awareness methodologies, practices and techniques.
- Assist in the coordination and support for the work involved in solutions delivery under the guidance of the manager.
- Assist in providing recommendations contributing to the development and implementation of relevant NAV CANADA cyber security Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
- Assists in communications, process improvements, documentation creation, reviews, validation, and obtaining approvals.
- Collaborate with peers and external partners for the betterments of information sharing amongst various external cyber security groups.
- Work jointly with training teams on the development of annual mandatory training material for all NAV CANADA employees.
- Coordinates reviews, prioritization and scheduling of all requests in consultation with the Manager.
- Contribute to the improvement of cyber security processes and procedures by highlighting gaps and weaknesses to management and proposing solutions.
- Maintain the Secure Development training program by evaluating requirements, and delivering relevant training.
- Assist in providing coordination and support for the work involved in the development of modifications to existing system and technology solutions and processes related to the cyber security maturity assessments.
- Assist in the creation of plans, procedures and deliverables which align with the Technology organization’s frameworks and processes.
- Contribute to the response to cyber incidents, if required, under the direction of the Incident Commander.Positive Impact on achievement of functional goals and objectives of the team.
- Required to analyze situation, identify appropriate threat and risk levels from established alternatives using defined methodologies.
- Post-secondary degree in information systems or a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant practical experience.
- Experience with the development, documentation and publication of Policies, Standards and Procedures.
- Experience in strategic internal awareness and education, and organizational change management programs related to IT risk/cyber security.
- Foundational understanding of security-related threats and risks, as well as practices and capabilities to address them.
- Experience gathering KPIs to generate required reporting on a regular cadence.
- Experience partnering with internal stakeholders to develop internal and external communication plans.
- Experience in responding to IT support tickets, troubleshooting issues and escalating for response as appropriate.
- Experience planning and coordinating events.
- Experience maintaining SharePoint sites.
- Knowledge of cyber security best practices and principles.
- Knowledge of NAV CANADA’s ITIL Practice a plus.
- Knowledge of corporate technologies such as Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI.
- Ability to conduct professional discussions with internal customers, management and with external partners and vendors.
- Ability to write clear, cohesive and concise documentation and communication material that is easily understandable by colleagues, management and clients.
- Ability to foster teamwork by involving others in problem solving, decision-making and creative thinking.
- Ability to communicate clearly in conversation and in presentations to both technical and nontechnical audience.
- Ability to interact with and learn new systems confidently.
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous active projects and assignments.
- Ability to work under a high degree of concentration when required.
- Ability to schedule your work to ensure interruptions are manageable.
- Ability to prioritize and create a work schedule that meets tight deadlines under time pressure.
- Ability to learn new tools and systems.
- This position is Hybrid eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
