What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer and monitor critical IT and security systems, including firewalls, virtual machines (VMs), and endpoints
- Deploy, configure, and maintain EDR, MFA, and SIEM technologies
- Perform system hardening and patch management across various environments to support compliance
- Monitor security tools and logs to identify and respond to anomalies or unauthorized activity
- Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures to support audit readiness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of system administration experience, preferably in a federal or DoD environment
- Experience administering and securing hybrid systems across on-prem, AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, and GCC High
- Strong working knowledge of firewalls, EDR platforms, endpoint management tools, MFA, and SIEM systems
- Familiarity with CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171/172, and federal cybersecurity frameworks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Security+, CySA+, SSCP, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, AWS/Azure Administrator, or equivalent
