  • Job Description

      Req#: 27227BR
      • Responsible for vulnerability management for both on-premise and cloud resources and ensure the company’s overall security posture.
      • Responsible for using the Tenable products (tenable.sc and tenable.io), Prisma, Invicti and other tools for vulnerability management.
      • Responsible for the vulnerability risk acceptance process to ensure each vulnerability is properly evaluated, mitigated, and documented properly.
      • Assemble metrics, reports, and put together presentations for multiple teams and executives.
      • Develop and implement security standards and procedures to ensure the security, reliability and accessibility of applications, networks, and infrastructure components.
      • 2 years or more of IT experience in security or engineering
      • experienced using PowerShell or other scripting languages
      • experience with a centralized security event logging technology such as Splunk
      • experience with the Tenable product or an equivalent vulnerability management solution
      • experience with Microsoft Active Directory including a strong understanding of its capabilities and design
      • understanding of database and application security
      • understanding of networking infrastructure components – including Firewall, IDS, and A/V
      • experience with secure remote access technologies, including VPN, SSL, SSH, Citrix, and/or multi-factor authentication mechanisms
      • experience conducting security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing, including the analysis of results and coordinating action plans for remediation
      • knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals
      • successful completion of one or more of the following certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GIAC
      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or an analytical / engineering discipline
      • understanding (At least 1 year for Cybersecurity Analyst 2) of Windows, and/or Linux/Unix, computing technologies and architectures
      • understanding (At least 1 year for Cybersecurity Analyst 2) of networking protocols – TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS
      • must be strong (At least 1 year for Cybersecurity Analyst 2) in troubleshooting software installation and configuration challenges
      • must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills
      • must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
      • must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • must have a high degree of confidentiality, maturity, self-motivation, commitment, and integrity
      • must show enthusiasm, initiative, pride in work, and a commitment to Publix
