You are a dynamic Cybersecurity Analyst for Catholic Medical Center (CMC) who will be responsible for playing a key role in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all company data and systems. You not only possess technical skills but a well-rounded understanding of governance, risk and compliance. You are dedicated to fostering Cybersecurity Resilience within CMC. As a Subject Matter Expert, Team Member, Project Coordinator, Facilitator, Trainer, and Ambassador, you play a crucial role in ensuring the security of CMC's electronic systems and data.
This is a full time (40 hour) fully benefitted hybrid position. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. On call for cyber related events. Targeting candidates within New Hampshire and surrounding areas and candidates willing to relocate to New Hampshire.
What You'll Do:
· Monitor and analyze security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM and EDR software, to promptly detect and respond to security incidents.
· Respond to emerging threats by maintaining a Cyber Threat Intelligence repository and staying abreast of cybersecurity trends and threats to Healthcare organizations.
· Assist in technical implementations by developing SOAR strategies via the use of various scripting languages and SaaS solutions.
· Coordinate activities and project tasks related to CMC's Cybersecurity Strategic Plan that supports the overall Business Plan of the CMC.
· Stay informed about federal, state, and regulatory laws that impact Healthcare organizations.
· Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Team to develop a defense-in-depth solution for system and data security with the overall goal of lowering risk while maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of CMC Information Systems.
· Prepare, conduct, and remediate results of internal and external audits, security/risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
· Act as the Incident Manager for cybersecurity events, coordinating response efforts and communication.
· Provide and/or support security awareness training within the organization.
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, including procedures, playbooks, and policies by utilizing various risk management frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, ISO 27001).
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive vendor assessments, evaluating the cybersecurity posture of external partners and vendors.
· Participate in the planning, design and implementation of enterprise security architecture.
· Respond to tickets for addressing security concerns, vulnerabilities, and end-user reported issues.
· Work with technical resources to build, test, and support system interfaces.
· Coordinate activities with other IS Groups to enhance system functionality.
!*!What You'll Bring:
· Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, or equivalent Cybersecurity experience.
· 1-4 years in an Information Security or Cybersecurity role.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and technologies.
· Ability to manage complex information system installations and projects.
· Healthcare IT experience preferred.
· Contributor in implementing, maintaining, and supporting CMC software applications.
· Intermediate or advanced level Information Security or Cybersecurity certification preferred (e.g., Security+, SSCP, CySA+, GSEC). Other Cybersecurity Certifications will be considered.
