What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define security requirements and design secure solutions for cloud and on-premises IT implementations
- Conduct security analysis of Open Source and COTS solutions
- Perform threat modeling and cyber risk analysis
- Drive the use and implementation of automation
- Assess risks and policy compliance associated with IT environments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology and information security practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience with vulnerabilities, exploits, and security engineering principles
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Node.js
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX systems and architectures
- Recognized security (8570) certification (Security+ or equivalent)
- Prior experience with secure software development, integration, and testing
