- Candidates must be able to work ~ 20 - 25 hours/week during the 16 week spring internship program (mid-January to mid-May).
- Gather data, analyze, and draft reports for departments, projects, key indicators, and dashboards.
- Assist with defined tasks to support specified cyber security domain areas.
- Assist in research, development, and implementation of information security initiatives such as policy, program, procedure, and technology improvements and solutions.
- Serve as an ambassador to help employees and contractors understand their role in safeguarding information, technology, and services.
- Develop relationships with peers and key stakeholders, such as business partners, legal, internal audit, risk, and technology specialists.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a similar program.
- Internships are not available for students who have completed their college education or will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following cybersecurity domain areas: application awareness, BCP/DR, cyber resiliency, data handling and classification, data level encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), forensics, fraud investigation and response, identity and access management, identity awareness, incident response and management, key management systems, multi-factor authentication, network zoning and segmentation, next gen firewalls, secure coding, security within SDLC, STIGs, web application firewalls (WAF), web certifications.
- Proficiency using MS Office.
- Interest in learning about cybersecurity within the financial services industry.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Prior cybersecurity related internship.
- Awareness of control frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, ISO 2700, COBIT.
- Knowledge of systems like Archer, RiskVision, RSAM or equivalent.
- Experience with systems such as Remedy, JIRA, Tanium or equivalent.

Compensation:

The salary for this position generally ranges between $22-$24 an hour for undergraduate students and up to $30 an hour for graduate students. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
