What You Will Do

• Work with various security stakeholders to define gaps in security visibility and resolve identified issues.
• Engage with security stakeholders to define where automation would simplify tasks and procedures for the team.
• Work with various key stakeholders to develop, review, and update documentation for various security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Connect with customer groups to define requirements and create a service now dashboard to meet documented needs for various security processes and create automation to support the dashboard.
• Research, document, and provide recommendations on various SIEM log source tuning.

How You Will Do It

• As an Intern, you'll work as part of a dynamic team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues.
• You will stay up to date on the latest cyber security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities to provide valuable insights to the various teams.
• You will collaborate with cyber security team members to implement, and maintain security measures, protocols, and policies.

What We Look For

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and IT.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
• Duration: Summer 2024. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
• Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions if working remotely. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
