      Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

      Position Summary

      The Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (CyberOps Analyst) helps deploy and operate a secure cloud infrastructure that aligns with business needs. The position is responsible for supporting operational innovation within a cloud computing infrastructure. An intermediate role, the cybersecurity engineer helps deliver applications at scale and with resiliency to support business initiatives. The CyberOps Analyst is also expected to possess advanced administrative and troubleshooting skills, and be knowledgeable about architecture, engineering and design principles. In tandem with the Cybersecurity Engineer Lead, CyberOps Analyst assess the threat landscape and adapt quickly to protect the business from risk. They must be highly technical and possess at least 3 years’ experience in security operations and/or systems administration across cloud infrastructure and user endpoints infrastructure. They are also expected to have a strong work ethic, leverage analytical and critical thinking, and be skillful at meeting change requests at a moment’s notice

      Job Responsibilities

      • Maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade processes in tandem with Security, DevOps and IT.
      • Protect systems in compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS. SOC2. Privacy regulations and corporate policies
      • Conduct rigorous oversight of security systems and security configuration administration to reduce risk to enterprise systems and accounts.
      • Attend regular technical project and implementation meetings and serve as the security consultant to help guide secure application and infrastructure configurations.
      • Actively monitor, assess and recommend tactical and strategic initiatives based on new and emerging threats
      • Manage remediation efforts after security assessment findings outline weaknesses requiring attention.
      • Act as a key figure in incident response to track occurrence and resolution, with strict documentation and reporting as well as engagement within Security and DevOps teams
      • Perform other duties as assigned by the CISO

      Job Qualifications

      • At least 3+ years’ experience in cybersecurity as a practitioner and with at least 2+ years exposure with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
      • Strong Linux and Windows support skills.
      • Experienced in cloud networking architecture and cloud operations, and secure internet proxies such as Zscaler
      • Network and encryption experience, including VPNs, IPsec, SSL/TLS, LDAP and public key infrastructure (PKI).
      • IDAM experience, including OAuth, OpenID and Okta
      • Familiarity with endpoint security, data loss prevention tools including Proofpoint, Crowdstrike, TrendMicro, Microsoft Defender
      • Up-to-date understanding of a wide-range of incident response, system configuration, vulnerability management and hardening guidelines.
      • Proficiency with Rapid7’s SIEM solution, InsightIDR, or any other industry leading SIEM solution is required. This includes configuration of the product as well as developing, implementing and maintaining SIEM correlation rules based on various log sources, threat intelligence, and alerts to enhance detection capabilities

      • Self-motivated and -directed, well-organized and able to position controls in anticipation of threats.
      • Successful track record collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to promote ideas to support business enablement

      Education Requirments

      • Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, information security, engineering, information technology or related field, or equivalent industry experience

      Certification Requirments

      • Holds or working toward one or more including: CISSP, CCSP, CCSK and AWS Certified Security
