      Position Summary

      As a Penetration Tester, you will play a key role on NVR’s Cybersecurity Engineering and Red Team, helping to secure a large enterprise network. You will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders, acting as a security advisor and leveraging your expertise to ensure robust analysis, design, configuration, and monitoring of NVR’s systems, networks, and cloud environments.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Conduct penetration testing to assess controls, configurations, and protocols.
      • Support the development, implementation, and management of security measures to protect systems, infrastructure, data, and platforms.
      • Contribute to the Data Security Program by engineering, deploying, configuring, and managing data protection technologies.
      • Serve as a security advisor on various ad-hoc projects driven by business and IT developments.
      • Assist with security engineering initiatives and support cybersecurity team activities.
      • Help develop and enforce security policies, standards, procedures, and processes to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
      • Evaluate and implement new security technologies, tools, and methodologies.

      Qualifications

      Required:

      • 5+ years of experience in security engineering within a large, fast-paced enterprise environment.
      • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent certification/training.
      • Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Metasploit, etc.
      • Experience evaluating system configurations and documentation, including Authorization and Assessment (A&A).
      • Familiarity with security platforms such as DLP, CASB, and others.
      • Strong engineering, problem-solving, and communication skills.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively to identify and resolve issues.
      • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and emerging trends.
      • Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow as a cybersecurity professional.
      • Commitment to continuous improvement, process engineering, and operational excellence.

      Highly Preferred :

      • Experience with Microsoft cloud security technologies (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Sentinel).
      • Knowledge of web application firewalls (WAF) and networking technologies.
      • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and tools such as SAST, DAST, fuzzers.
      • Understanding of the DevSecOps pipeline and related security components (SAST, DAST, SCA).
      • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., SC-100, SC-200, SC-300).
      • Cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, CPT, or PenTest+.
