Cybersecurity Specialist for Vulnerability Management

Support of the vulnerability management process and drive the process improvements.
Stay current with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities as well stay current with industry best practices to continuously improve our vulnerability management program.
Evaluate identified vulnerabilities by analyzing their severity, exploitability, and potential impact and applicability to Siemens Gamesa product and solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective remediation strategies and action plans.
Support defining the vulnerability mitigation plans to close vulnerabilities i.e., patch, mitigate by other means, or accept the risk.
Provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on security best practices and vulnerability treatment strategies.
Document and report on vulnerability findings, remediation efforts, and overall security posture to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Several years of experience in cybersecurity, product security or OT security.
Academic degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable education.
Proven experience in cybersecurity vulnerability management, including vulnerability assessments, security testing, and remediation strategies.
In-depth knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and exploitation techniques.
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, SonarQube, Black Duck, Burp Suite, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and prioritize risks effectively.
Fluency in English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and experience with SCADA and Industrial Control Systems.
Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert.
Experience with widely recognized OT cybersecurity standards, including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and ISO 27001.
Experience with regulatory compliance requirements specific to OT environments (e.g., NIS2 NERC CIP, Cyber Resilience act).

How to contribute to our vision
For our Industrial Cybersecurity team, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated industrial cybersecurity specialist to drive the vulnerability management discipline within the Product and Solutions area. As an Industrial Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security posture of wind power plants by proactively identifying and supporting the remediation of potential security risks.
You will be part of Industrial Cybersecurity Technical Competence Center - a team of experienced cybersecurity professionals supporting the business and development teams in securing systems by default across Product and Solutions, Manufacturing IT and Business managed IT.
