  Purpose:

  Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will play an integral role in maintaining cylinders.

  What you’ll do:

  • Perform cylinder inspection including testing and identification of non-conformance or cylinders requiring maintenance/repairs. Inspect and scrap defective cylinders.
  • Valve and de-valve, strip, repair and paint cylinders and maintain certification requirements to certify the cylinders as being retested.
  • Operate hydraulic test equipment, automated paint system and sandblast cleaning line as needed.
  • Operate forklift truck to move cylinders in the warehouse.

  What it takes:

  Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with similar experience.
  • Forklift license.
  • 1 year experience in a related industrial environment or in the mechanical industry.

  Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Mechanically inclined to be able to work with tools and machinery.
  • Ability to handle and lift up to 50 lbs.
