Cylinder Maintenace Technician

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenace Technician to join our team!

The Cylinder Maintenance Tech will be responsible for the maintenance and requalifying and all aspects that are required to put cylinders into the process. The Cylinder Maintenance Tech role at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is physically demanding and requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.

Hourly Rate: $21-$24 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities (1st Shift)

· Inspects all cylinders and valves that are to be assembled into complete packages

· Sort cylinders in preparation for retest/repair by size and CGA

· Prep cylinders for blast/test/paint (blow down, scrape)

· Shot blast and paint cylinders

· Inspect cylinders for proper markings (DOT pressure rating, test date, overfill, 10-year test, ownership)

· Internal and external cylinder inspections

· Follows strict guidelines for valving different packages and for de-valving them

· Keeps inventory of all supplies needed to keep the department running smoothly

· Leak checks final packages to ensure no leaks are present

· Performs all tasks and processing in a safe manner while wearing all PPE required for the job

· Prepares and fills out all required paperwork and logs associated with cylinders being processed.

· Completes and maintains quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures

· Other duties as assigned
