- Responsible for day-to-day ingestion, troubleshooting and distribution of digital assets.
- Administrator of our upcoming DAM platform, responsible for daily operations and workflows, and acting as an internal expert on the entire content pipeline.
- Collaborate with key partners and cross-functional stakeholders to support the execution of the DAM vision and drive improvements to support content operations.
- Help train and support users of the DAM.
- Collaborate with DP, AMS and creators to troubleshoot content issues related to the CMS/DAM and content pipeline.
- Work with AMS and DP to back load archival material needed for digital distribution channels.
- Support quality control processes and make recommendations to improve quality control, with the goal of error free & reliable content delivered to our digital distribution channels.
- Provide onboarding and respond to creator needs via either email or phone, and resolve questions, requests, or problems.
- Support DP and AMS teams for consumer support, digital client management, content production and marketing content deployment.
- Support metadata needs by helping add new relevant terms, keywords and removing old ones.
- Help support content audits periodically – which content is in use and which content is no longer needed.
- Maintain best practice asset management and contribute to standards by being in line with industry best practices.
- Strong grasp of digital asset management or content operations fundamentals.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and directed.
- Must be a fast learner, responsible, dependable, and able to deal with competing priorities in a positive way.
- Highly adaptable and able to keep a positive attitude during times of change.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Creative problem-solver.

- 2 – 3 Years Experience with Digital Asset Management, Content Operations and/or Content Librarian roles.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Mac experience. Experience with preparing and processing image files for Web, Mobile, and Print.
- Experience working with APIs, HTML and XML (reading and updating).

POSITION SCOPE
This position's primary responsibility is to ensure digital assets are in position for all digital distribution channels, including digital products’ websites and digital syndication. The position is responsible for managing and successfully fulfilling the day-to-day operational needs of our DAM and content pipeline, which includes content ingestion and the workflow management needed to deliver content to all digital channels. The administrator needs to have strong communication and support skills to guide creators through onboarding, updating their digital assets and on-going support. This person will collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot problems, continuously improve content processes, improve content accuracy, content reliability, and help recommend improvements to the DAM platform. This role works closely with creators and associates on both the AMU Digital Products (DP) and Andrews McMeel Syndication (AMS) teams. This role will also support our current content management system, for a window of time, which the DAM will be replacing.
