      Job summary

      Trentside Medical Group is seeking a Data Administrator for our friendly, busy GP Surgery.

      We are looking for a well-motivated, enthusiastic person to join our busy administrative team. Key responsibilities include the processing of incoming patient data into medical records, handling patient recalls, assisting with patient registrations, and the actioning of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office using our clinical system database (SystmOne.)

      The successful candidate for this position will be a collaborative team player, with the ability to also be able to work independently and take initiative. You will be skilled at organising and prioritising your workload alongside having the ability to manage multiple tasks, and always willing to learn new things.       Main duties of the job

      Efficiently manage all incoming mail, review and read code as per clinical team guidelines, and take necessary actions.

      Ensure that all incoming and internal patient correspondence is accurately stored in the electronic record system, with appropriate coding of relevant information. Handle all documentation received by the practice promptly and with precision.

      Perform administrative tasks as assigned by clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring alignment with role-specific requirements.

      Adhere to practice protocols for consistent, accurate, and timely processing of patient medical record coding.

      Alert relevant clinicians and/or administrative staff to important information that may require recall or follow-up.

      Act as directed by Team Members and Managers, ensuring smooth workflow. Contribute to the practice's efficiency by performing any other duties required for its success. Participate in an annual appraisal to identify personal development needs and enhance skills for career growth.

      Provide general office and administrative support services as needed.

      Support team members by stepping in to assist with duties during staff leave or absence, always ensuring a seamless service.
