Our CRM Tech team works in close partnership with Marketing, Technology, Product, and Analytics to lead and ensure the successful delivery of campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing related implementation engagements from a technical and operational standpoint. In addition, the team works to develop insights and data solutions that support decision making, customer targeting and technologies used throughout Nordstrom. As an integral part of our CRM Tech team, the Data Analyst is responsible for the development, execution and ongoing management of campaigns, reports and general administrative functions.

      A day in the life…

      • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for campaign development & execution
      • Perform ongoing maintenance of existing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
      • Anticipate issues/risks, escalate appropriately, and play an active role in triaging and solutioning
      • Communicate effectively with business partners on the status of enhancements, projects and open production support tickets
      • This role will be focused on campaign logic, implementation, and execution. It will be less on the actual content creation, however, knowledge of creating HTML forms and page layouts is a plus
      • Partner with key stakeholders on providing data analysis to inform strategies and play a role in shaping audience strategy for email, app push, and direct mail
      • Mine complex customer behavioral data and transform it into actionable information
      • Use data visualization techniques to communicate solutions to business stakeholders
      • Support ongoing operational efficiency and automation efforts across all marketing channels (email, direct mail, app push, digital)
      • Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership and initiative
      • Demonstrate productivity through the efficient use of time, a team-first mindset, and a commitment to strong results

      You own this if you have...

      • Bachelor’s Degree or two years related experience.
      • 1+ year of professional experience writing SQL queries from scratch.
      • 1+ year of retail analytics or marketing analytics preferred.
      • Experience with Sales Force Marketing Cloud preferred.
      • Ability to work in a deadline focused, dynamic environment
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • Ability to analyze business processes, design process improvements, and train business partners on new processes
      • Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey results to non-experts
      • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders

      California: $66,000 - $121,000 annually, Colorado: $66,000 - $105,000 annually, Nevada: $66,000 - $105,000 annually, New York: $66,000 - $121,000 annually, Rhode Island: $66,000 - $105,000 annually, Washington: $75,500 - $121,000 annually
