      About this Position

      Data Analyst 3 prepares detailed reports, visuals, and dashboards to demonstrate analysis results for the Life Communications. Solves complex problems and research requests. Leads meetings to gather analysis requirements and present findings. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Interfaces with multiple teams and departments across the organization.

      Salary: $85K - $90K

      Responsibilities & Qualifications

      • Support all phases of data collection and assessment for reporting and delivery.
      • Compile specifications for the request and develop the logic to pull and distribute the report.
      • Write advanced queries and create views to gather data from multiple tables and sub queries.
      • Establish relationships and partner with other functions to deliver client value.
      • Generate reports for analysis from single or multiple systems.
      • Query and analyze data using tools such as Excel, SQL, MS Access, Master SQL and Python and others as required.
      • Write code to automate reports and templates and consolidate data into reports and knowledge.
      • Create reports, charts, presentations, and timelines in support of department or business operations.
      • Develop complex Power Bi visuals and dashboards for both ad hoc reporting and for ongoing use by department management
      • Apply modeling software to create predictive analytics in support of department objectives.
      • Analyze and identify discrepancies within data sets and identify solutions.
      • Ensure data quality, accuracy and timely processing.
      • Maintain, review and/or analyze data files, tables, and reports for inconsistencies.
      • Perform detailed analysis on your results and effectively summarize your findings.
      • Present data and provide recommendations to department leadership for their use in making operational decisions, identifying process improvements and developing policy development to support change initiatives.
      • Assist other departments researching and resolving production issues and concerns.
      • Design, develop and maintain statistical reports as needed on a daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis for all levels of management.
      • Formulate, develop and implement changes to improve departmental and process efficiency, including using automation tools:(Microsoft Access , Power Bi, etc.).
      • Identify new research ideas that may be beneficial to the department, gather the data, prepare analysis, and present findings.
      • Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 Analysts by answering questions, offering guidance and direction, and training less experienced analysts.
