      Overview

      LifeLong Medical Care has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to support data analytic team including reporting development, data validation, and database maintenance, and provide assistance in further development of Tableau and reports in EPIC.

      This is a full time, benefit eligible position, working 40 hours/week. Must be able to work in-person in Berkeley, CA. Out of state applicants will not be considered.

      Benefits

      COVID-19 Vaccine Policy

      Responsibilities

      • Supports data analytic team with data reporting and provides assistance to all data reporting tool users in Lifelong Medical Care, including documentation of report requirements and report implementations.
      • Provides analytic support to one or multiple departments and develops a variety of complex ad hoc, production and/or trend reports to support business decisions and operational processes for internal and external clients independently
      • Assists in maintaining integrity of all databases including troubleshooting measures such as identification of error elements with notification to in-house source or outside vendor
      • Assists in arranging project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
      • Communicates with clients and key stakeholders to develop and create specification analytical applications.
      • Develops and maintains internal reporting services platform using Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Reporting Services and Tableau.
      • Assists data analytic team in database optimization and maintenance.
      • Supports developments of Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts in data conversation for EPIC implementation.
      • Protects operations by keeping information confidential and complies with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 requirements.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Job Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
      • Minimum 2 years’ experience in programming analysis involving duties listed above
      • Experience in healthcare related field and/or data reporting related work.
      • Proficiency in SQL scripting and knowledge of database development.
      • Basic understanding of SQL Server Integration Services.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

      Job Preferences

      • Community Health Center experience.
      • Microsoft Certified Solution Associate in SQL database development.
      • Experience in data visualization development
