A Bachelor's degree preferably in Data Analytics, Business Management or a related technical discipline
1-3 years of experience with data analytics, data visualization and business intelligence tools, preferably in Supply Chain Management or procurement domain
Knowledge and experience with Fieldglass reporting, SAP S4 reporting and ACL
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to conclusions based on the findings
Strong utilization of visual aids and superior storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex analysis and detailed concepts to stakeholders and leadership
Ability to quickly grasp business processes and identify priorities and challenges
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
Perform data wrangling activities to clean, structure and enrich raw data for analysis
Perform exploratory data analysis and develop visualizations and graphs to highlight trends and patterns
Interpret data and present insights to stakeholders and leadership to support decision making
On a reoccurring basis (e.g. monthly/quarterly/yearly), perform timely maintenance of reports and stewardships including availability and accuracy
Execute on a range of data analytics initiatives across Supply Chain Management
Collaborate with client groups to collect business requirements and establish data initiative goals and objectives
Educate clients on data analytics approaches, methods and visualizations to support data driven decision making
Identify, design, and implement process improvements through the automation, optimization of data delivery, and process re-design for greater scalability
Stay abreast with changing technology and digital opportunities
You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday , with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
