      Position Summary:
      Are you ready to propel data into captivating narratives that fuel revenue growth? Welcome to Monster Energy's Center of Excellence (CoE). As a Data Analyst, you'll lead the charge in transforming mundane data into visually compelling selling stories. These narratives will empower Monster Energy's salesforce to forge deeper relationships, increase revenue, and amplify profitability for all stakeholders—MEC, distributors, and retail partners alike. Nestled within the Global Category Management and Sales Systems department, our CoE boasts cutting-edge expertise in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and market insights. Our team of skilled professionals and subject matter experts disseminate thought leadership and best practices throughout the organization, elevating our impact.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Develop category management plans and presentations for key customers using multiple data sources, including Nielsen, Numerator, Global Data, VIP, and SAP, presenting findings to appropriate teams and customers.
      • Utilize Python and R for regression analysis, forecasting, and identifying business drivers, as well as exploring correlations between sales and key performance indicators i.e., distribution, price, promotion, etc.
      • Disseminate best practices and key insights across the enterprise for use in various materials like Ops Decks and quarterly business reviews. These resources will uncover emerging trends, identify gaps, and pinpoint opportunities, resulting in more informed and timely business decisions.
      • Lead the charge in deciphering category information to uncover white space opportunities and optimize category performance. Your insights will align MEC's strategic objectives with retailer goals.
      • Partner seamlessly with Strategy, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive a holistic approach to category management.
      • Collaborate with our in-house graphic design specialist to create original content that captivates and influences. Match the right chart with the right data, showcasing your proficiency in data visualization.
      • Tailor your storytelling to your audience, becoming a compelling communicator who influences decision makers.
      • Stay abreast of industry white papers and trends, identifying new consumer and retail opportunities.

      Position Requirements:

      • Undergraduate degree (BS, BA)
      • Category Management and/or CPG Beverage experience preferred but not mandatory.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Suite, Nielsen Discover, Numerator Insights, SAP Shipments, VIP Depletions, Python, R and/or related data sources and systems.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying complex information to diverse audiences.

      Pay Range : $74,500 - $87,600
