      Nelnet is looking for a talented and motivated intern to assist with a diverse set of data and analysis projects. This will be a hands-on opportunity to quickly build experience working with data, generating value-add reporting, conducting analyses, and interacting with clients and internal stakeholders. Candidates should have strong quantitative and problem solving skills, in addition to familiarity working with different types of data.


      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
      1. Extract, cleanse, and compile data from a variety of sources including CSV/Excel, SQL Server, Snowflake, and SalesForce.
      2. Design and generate reporting for the business.
      3. Perform analyses on data sets, interpret results, and provide recommendations.
      4. Create presentations and whitepapers of key findings to be used internally and for clients.
      5. Attend company orientation and development classes as applicable.
      6. Meet, collaborate, and interact with Nelnet employees at a variety of levels.
      7. Participate in department team-building activities.

      Pay - $20 - $26


      EDUCATION:
      Pursuing degree in a financial, quantitative, or programming discipline.

      EXPERIENCE:
      Prior experience and familiarity working with Microsoft Excel and data. Strong quantitative background demonstrated through prior work experience or academics.
