This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

The Data Analyst Intern is a team member within Business Analytics & Strategy under Client Operations. As an intern, you’ll support the team in addressing business challenges by identifying issues, crafting solutions, and helping to implement automation and workflow enhancements. We’re looking for someone who loves working with data, can think innovatively to streamline processes, and thrives on seeing success unfold. If you’re a curious, self-motivated individual ready to roll up your sleeves and learn, you’ll fit right in. In this internship, you’ll not only gain valuable technical skills but also learn how to think critically, collaborate effectively, and drive meaningful change within a dynamic business environment.

What you will do:

• Engage with business sponsors to understand and document data quality needs
• Hunt for new opportunities to improve processes and workflows
• Supporting the development of test scripts for automating manual tasks
• Team up with business partners to analyze data controls and results
• Craft data quality standards and requirements, bridging the gap between business and technology
• Test, test, and test! Help ensure our solutions meet user needs through acceptance testing
• Innovate by designing and developing tools to supercharge our business operations

What you bring:

• Basic coding skills (SQL, R, Python, etc.) and a hunger to learn more
• Familiarity with LCNC software (like Microsoft Power Platforms) and data wrangling tools (Alteryx & Power BI) is a plus
• Bonus points for experience with unstructured data or partnering with IT on integration projects
• An analytical mindset coupled with problem-solving skills
• The drive to improve existing processes and workflows
• Stellar communication skills to collaborate across departments and understand operational needs

Education Preferred:

• Current student pursuing a BS/BA degree in an analytically oriented field

Experience:

• None required, relevant professional experience is a plus
