  This position is onsite based out of Burnsville, MN. May be eligible for relocation.

  As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in extracting insights from data and contributing to informed decision-making within our organization. Your responsibilities will span data analysis, visualization, and communication. As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll not only crunch numbers but also tell compelling stories that drive meaningful business decisions. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  Data Extraction and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Use tools such as Excel, Tableau, Python, and SQL to extract, clean, and analyze data.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.

  Storytelling with Data:

  • Translate complex data findings into compelling narratives.
  • Craft data-driven stories that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Present your insights to management and other teams.

  Presentation Skills:

  • Develop visually appealing presentations using tools like PowerPoint.
  • Clearly communicate data-driven recommendations and insights.
  • Adapt your presentation style to different audiences.

  Automation and Efficiency:

  • Automate manual processes related to data extraction and reporting.
  • Develop new reporting, modeling, and analysis tools.
  • Integrate tools into supply chain management processes.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Data Analytics .

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python, Tableau, R, SQL, and Excel.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-driven mindset.

  • Ability to work logically under pressure.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is a plus.

  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools

  • Creativity, curiosity, and passion for excellence in a dynamic environment.

  The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
