What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect, clean, mine, and analyze data to support strategic decision-making
- Serve as a knowledge resource for consulting staff regarding statistics and machine learning
- Design and create advanced models to drive analytically-driven strategy projects
- Clearly communicate analytical techniques and findings in a non-technical manner
- Innovate project approaches and identify new problems to solve with analytics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Physics, or a related field
- Experience with large data manipulation in SAS or SQL interfaces
- Detail-oriented with the ability to dive deep into business processes, data, and analytics
- Independent, creative, and driven quantitative thinker
- Experience in at least one area of Excel modeling, common machine learning models, advanced regression models, unsupervised learning, or advanced time series
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Extensive experience using R or Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with life science APIs & public datasets (e.g., PubMed, OpenTrials)
- Experience in data visualization using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or D3.js
