- Manage a variety of data sources to identify and analyze trends, variances, and anomalies in performance data to develop spending recommendations for the executive team.
- Conduct performance analysis on media buying and conversions.
- Produce reports and dashboards in a variety of formats to clearly communicate results of analysis.
- Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders to identify areas of optimization or improved performance.
- Stay up to date with trends and optimization strategies.
- MS in a quantitative discipline (e.g., sciences, mathematics, business intelligence, economics, accounting, operations research, business)
- Ability to extract and manipulate data from multiple, complex data sources with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to tackle complex analysis from multiple data sources and produce actionable business solutions.
- Experience with predictive modeling and forecasting
- Detailed oriented and motivated to learn and improve business and analytic skills.
- Experience with business intelligence tools and web analytics packages, including Tableau.
- Database experience, preferably:
- Hadoop/HDFS/MapReduce environment
- Hive query environment
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle SQL environments
- Redis
- Data interchange formats, especially JSON and XML
- Scripting writing in languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Initiative-taker and finisher
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and manage tight deadlines
- Ability to proactively follow-up on open and unclear items
- Complete work with an important level of accuracy and able to quality check own work
- Powerful desire to succeed and be part of a winning team

The Opportunity
Our company is seeking a motivated and purposeful Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, programming languages, and managing dashboards. The Data Analyst will develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive set of operational data capture methods, management reports, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), thus providing an adequate set of tools for business planning and strategic decision making.
The analyst will also be responsible for highlighting performance issues and gaps, conducting root cause analysis, and facilitating performance optimization throughout the organization to meet defined targets for business performance and product quality. This role will also be responsible for the validation, timeliness, and accuracy of the data feeding performance reports, executive summaries, and KPI’s.
