      As a Data Analyst - Live Service on The Sims™ 4, you will partner with product, design, production, and engineering leads to rapidly evolve and modernize the gaming experience through swift iterations. You will report to the Manager, Analytics.

      From engagement analysis, to monetization measurement, A/B testing and insights delivery, you will be the go-to resource for understanding how our live service is doing, where it is headed, and will have a significant influence on the world’s leading life simulation game.

      Your colleagues will be a tight-knit studio of enthusiastic industry craftspeople. You’ll also join a network of hundreds of experienced analysts and data scientists at EA as a member of the embedded-and-dedicated Data and Analytics (DnA) team.

      Main Responsibilities

      • Live Service Analysis: Inform rapid iterations to keep our live service fresh and engaging. Benchmark and measure the impact of live events and free content updates. Develop insightful data visualizations using Looker to inform strategy. Present compelling data stories.

      • A/B Testing and Experiment Design: Design, analyze, and optimize A/B tests for features, events, and promotions, explaining results clearly and concisely.

      • Telemetry Design: Collaborate with the game development team to understand features and design telemetry for tracking key moments, ensuring accurate data collection for continuous improvement.

      Requirements

      • 1+ years of experience working as a data analyst on a digital product in a professional setting;

      • Experienced proficiency querying large datasets with SQL;

      • Experience with live service analysis with examples of impact;

      • Statistical knowledge including an understanding of probability, correlation, regression, and classification;

      • Data storytelling skills, including ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical people;

      • Experience with A/B and multivariate test analysis;

      • A passion for Games;



      BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

      The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

      BASE SALARY RANGES

      • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
      º $73,200 - $101,700 CAN Annually

      Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
