Job Description

- University degree in health information, statistics, health sciences, or related discipline. Candidates with a combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
- At least 1 year of experience working with large databases
- Experience communicating data and/or producing reports
- Experience using statistical software such as SAS for analysis of large datasets
- Ability to link databases and merge data from various sources, create tables with extensive date cleaning knowledge
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must have satisfactory employment record
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- At least two years of experience using SAS
- Previous experience working in a health care environment
- Ability to speak French

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Evaluation Coordinator, the Data Analyst is responsible for the retrieval, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data for the CancerCare Manitoba Screening Programs.
